Jessica Silko is an associate with Silko & Associates, P.C. She has with the firm since 2012 and has considerable experience working on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases as well as various types of insurance defense litigation, personal injury cases, contract disputes, employment litigation, and landlord-tenant disputes. Ms. Silko has experience representing employers regarding wage and hour issues, non-compete/non-solicitation issues, and providing advice regarding compliance with employment statutes.
Ms. Silko is a 2012 graduate from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. While in law school, she focused her studies on employment law. She received a received the CALI Award for excellence in the field of disability law and won the ABA Bureau of National Affairs Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.
Ms. Silko’s interest in the law began while spending summers and breaks throughout high school and college working at her father’s law practice. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Penn State in 2009, and still enjoys trips to Happy Valley with her family and friends to watch football games in the fall. Prior to attending college, Ms. Silko graduated from South Fayette High School, and she is currently a resident of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Silko is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania.
